Over the decade:
📚 Pupils: +11.54%
🍎 Teachers: +23.7%
🏛� Total Administrators: +25.0%
👥 Total Staff: −2.8%
So unlike many districts Lady Budgetdown has examined, Ecorse gained both students and teachers, and teachers grew at more than twice the rate of enrollment.
But the staffing shifted elsewhere, too.
District/Central Administration increased 46.3%, while Instructional Aides declined 28.7% and Other Support declined 30.3%.
That's why Lady Budgetdown opens more than one column of the ledger.
More pupils. More teachers. More administrators. Fewer staff overall.
