Using the Michigan Department of Education's final 2024–25 Bulletin 1014, your Lady pulled the total General Fund revenue received per pupil, and where those dollars came from.
The totals:
Holland — $19,681
Grand Haven — $17,545
Coopersville — $16,576
Allendale — $16,318
Spring Lake — $16,161
Zeeland — $15,926
West Ottawa — $15,893
Jenison — $15,841
Hudsonville — $15,570
And this is precisely why your Lady keeps opening the ledger.
Two districts can have the same $9,608 foundation allowance and still have very different amounts of money flowing through their General Funds.
State dollars. Local dollars. Federal dollars. Other revenue and transfers.
The foundation allowance matters.
It simply isn't the whole story.
