Title: MACOMB COUNTY: PART ONE: Superintendent Wages alongside 2024–25 Pupil Counts

LADY BUDGETDOWN: MACOMB COUNTY: PART ONE

Here are the reported superintendent wages alongside 2024–25 pupil counts for the first group of Macomb County districts.

And because this comes up every time: Publishing compensation reported by the districts themselves is not an attack on administrators. Nor is comparing those figures to enrollment.

These are public records. The purpose isn't to decide whether someone is paid "too much" or "too little." It is to put public numbers next to each other so taxpayers can see them and draw their own conclusions.

There are also limitations worth disclosing. Districts do not all publish compensation reports for the same year or use identical terminology. I marked reports older than 2024, and where the public record wasn't clear enough to confidently identify a superintendent's wage, I said so rather than pretending otherwise.

That's not misinformation. That's showing the receipts, and the limitations of the receipts.
