The Reeths-Puffer ledger shows something I don't always get to write about: a pretty healthy financial trend. 👑📖
Over four audited fiscal years, the district posted four consecutive General Fund surpluses.
Fund balance grew from $5.81 million to $13.28 million, an increase of $7.47 million, or 128.5%.
And 2024-25 brought an interesting budget surprise: the final budget projected an $885,496 deficit. The district instead finished with a $674,800 surplus, a roughly $1.56 million swing.
No manufactured scandal necessary here. The receipts show a district whose General Fund position strengthened considerably over these four years.
Sometimes the ledger simply delivers good news.
With receipts and respect. 👑🧾
