Novi's average pupil count grew approximately 4%.
During the same period, total funding increased 46%, instruction increased 37.5%, instructional support increased 91.1%, and business and administration expenditures approximately doubled.
Meanwhile, the reported average teacher salary increased 12.1%.
Those numbers do not, by themselves, tell us whether any particular increase was necessary, unnecessary, good, or bad. Categories can change for many reasons, including staffing, wages, benefits, programs, services, accounting classifications and changing student needs.
But they do show where the numbers moved over the decade.
