Novi's publicly posted 2025 compensation report identifies 143 employees/positions with gross pay of $100,000 or more.

Together, those 143 positions account for:

An important distinction: Gross Pay and Total Paid are not the same thing.
Novi's report separately lists Gross Pay along with Life, LTD, Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, UAAL, FICA, Other and Total Paid.
At the top of the list by 2025 Gross Pay:

Gross Pay: $295,360.98
Total Paid: $464,177.54
🏛� Assistant Superintendent
Gross Pay: $209,412.15
Total Paid: $337,624.06
🏛� Assistant Superintendent
Gross Pay: $208,512.15

The $100K+ list also includes 9 Directors and 1 Dean of Students, along with principals, assistant principals, supervisors, teachers and other professional staff. The Dean of Students appears in the district report with gross pay above $100,000.
And that last point matters.
A "$100K+ list" should not automatically be read as an administrator list. Novi's report includes a substantial number of classroom and other instructional employees as well.
As always, Lady Budgetdown isn't deciding whether an individual employee should or shouldn't earn a particular salary.
The purpose is much simpler:
Public compensation records are public records.
Readers should be able to see what their school district reports, understand the difference between gross pay and the broader costs reported by the district, and draw their own conclusions.
