At the top:
Superintendent: $234,531.77 Medicare Wages → $387,916.99 Total District Cost
And Lake Orion reports three Assistant Superintendents, with Total District Costs of:
$292,340.99
$283,844.64
$299,248.94
Together, those four executive positions represent:
$1,263,351.56 in Total District Cost.
Remember what Step Two showed: over the decade, pupils declined 8.96%, teachers declined 5.1%, while district/central administration increased 44.1%.
Step Three doesn't tell us whether those positions are necessary.
It simply puts the cost beside the staffing trend.
