Title: Saginaw ISD’s CTE millage
Post by: Shadowninja on Sep 25, 2026, 01:06 PM
WELL... SINCE THE BOOKS WERE ALREADY OPEN.

Lady Budgetdown went looking at Saginaw ISD's CTE millage. Then I made the mistake of turning another page. 🐇

This time, I went looking at administrative compensation.

Michigan's school transparency requirements call for public reporting of compensation for the superintendent and employees earning more than $100,000, including fringe-benefit information.

Perfect. Off to the Saginaw ISD transparency page I went.

I looked.

And looked.

And looked some more. 👀

I could not locate the current compensation report.

I did find an older SISD report that included salary and supplemental compensation information by position. But not the current one.

So, until somebody can point Lady Budgetdown toward SISD's current report, I had to go somewhere else.

According to OpenPayrolls, Superintendent Jeffrey Collier's reported 2025 pay was approximately:

$341,000

OpenPayrolls also reports Deputy Superintendent Erin Senkowski's 2025 pay at approximately:

$181,255

Those are third-party payroll figures. They are not being presented as SISD's current compensation disclosure, and they should not be confused with total employer cost including every benefit.

Why use them?

Because I can't show you the current SISD compensation report if I can't find it. 🤷♀️

But then there was another receipt.

At its July 27, 2026 meeting, the SISD Board considered the purchase of a district vehicle:

"consistent with the terms of the Superintendent's employment agreement."

How much?

I don't know.

The public agenda doesn't say.

So Lady Budgetdown isn't going to make up a number. 🪶

And that's really where this rabbit hole ends, for now.

The superintendent's compensation is supposed to be publicly disclosed.

The compensation of employees earning more than $100,000 is supposed to be publicly disclosed.

I cannot locate SISD's current report.

And the board's own records now reference a district vehicle provided under the superintendent's employment agreement.

So this one is easy.

Where is the current compensation report?

If it's there and I've missed it, send me the link.

Seriously.

Lady Budgetdown loves being handed a receipt. 📜

I'll update the ledger.
