WELL, SISD... ANOTHER ONE?
When I compared Saginaw ISD's organizational charts, the number of leadership positions shown grew from 16 in 2019 to 25 in 2025. NINE additional positions, or roughly 56%.
Now another posting has landed in the ledger.
SISD is advertising internally for a Payroll Supervisor, with compensation of $75,755–$90,203.
The position will report to the Director of Finance and supervise the district's Payroll Specialist staff.
So naturally, Lady Budgetdown has a question:
Is this another newly created administrative position under Superintendent Collier, or is SISD filling an existing position that became vacant?
I can find references showing that SISD has used the title "Payroll Supervisor" before, so I am not going to declare this a newly created position without the receipt to prove it.
But considering how much SISD's leadership structure has already expanded, it is certainly a fair question to ask.
Perhaps someone familiar with the district's finance department can help fill in this particular line of the ledger. 🪶
