THE PAYROLL CHAIN
Well, dearest readers, this little rabbit hole got more interesting.
Saginaw ISD's current staff directory lists a Payroll Manager. Now SISD is posting internally for a Payroll Supervisor who would supervise Payroll Specialist staff.
So the question is rather simple:
Is the new Payroll Supervisor replacing or renaming an existing position as part of a reorganization? Or is SISD adding another management layer to the payroll chain?
There may be a perfectly reasonable explanation. I simply haven't found it in the records yet.
So, for now, I'll leave the question where it belongs, in the ledger. 🪶
