Title: Roscommon Area Public Schools - 10-YEAR Financial Snapshot
Post by: Shadowninja on Sep 28, 2026, 11:22 AM
Dearest reader,

Our next stop is Roscommon Area Public Schools. 📚

As always, we begin with the same ten-year look at the district: 2014–15 compared with 2024–25.

And there is quite a bit packed into this one.

Over those ten years:

📉 Pupil FTE fell 28.88%.

Meanwhile, on a per-pupil basis:

💰 All-sources revenue increased 103.52% — or 49.84% after inflation.

📚 Total instruction increased 63.21% — or 20.16% after inflation.

🏢 Business & administration increased 136.49% — or 74.11% after inflation.

🔧 Operations & maintenance increased 103.74% — or 49.99% after inflation.

And average teacher salary?

It increased 32.26% in dollars — but after accounting for inflation, it actually declined 2.63%.

That is precisely why Lady B likes looking at the whole ledger. A dollar today and a dollar ten years ago are not the same dollar.

Step 1 is in the books.

Next, we follow the breadcrumbs into staffing. 🪶
