Apparently, Lady B has an empire.
And here I thought I just had a website, some spreadsheets, and an unhealthy appreciation for public financial records. 😂
But according to some of the more imaginative corners of Facebook, there's apparently MUCH more going on behind the scenes.
A secret headquarters? 🏰
Mysterious financial backers? 💰
A sophisticated political operation?
A disgruntled parent?
A fired employee with an axe to grind?
Good heavens. Nobody bothered to tell ME!
I checked the vault this morning. Still five dollars.
And apparently, I'm still responsible for reviewing my own spreadsheets. The nerve! 🙄
Meanwhile, inside my highly sophisticated headquarters, the daily executive meetings sound something like this:

📊 Do the numbers add up?
📚 Have I considered the context?

Truly exhausting work for a supposed empire.
But here's the thing, dearest readers...
You can invent whatever fascinating backstory you like about Lady B.
The budgets don't change.
The debt doesn't disappear.
And the public records don't suddenly become less public.
So while the rumor mill continues its tireless work, I'll continue mine.
One spreadsheet. One question. One breadcrumb at a time.
After all, running an imaginary empire is terribly expensive.
Especially when the imaginary financial backers keep forgetting to send the checks.
